This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms that apply when a booking with Dekho Darjeeling is cancelled or rescheduled by a participant, or when a trip is cancelled by us. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation Schedule
Refunds for cancellations initiated by the participant are calculated based on how far in advance the cancellation is made, relative to the departure date:

| More than 30 days before the trek | 80% refund of the package cost |
| 15–30 days before the trek | 50% refund of the package cost |
| Less than 15 days before the trek | No refund |
No refund will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or if a participant leaves the trek after it has commenced.
Booking Transfers
Bookings may be transferred to another participant with prior approval from Dekho Darjeeling. Please contact our team as early as possible to arrange a transfer.
Cancellations by Dekho Darjeeling
If a trip is cancelled by Dekho Darjeeling due to safety concerns, natural disasters, government restrictions, insufficient group size, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered the option to transfer their booking to a future departure.
Where a transfer is not possible or not preferred, applicable refund arrangements will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule a booking to a different departure date are subject to availability and must be raised with our team as early as possible. Rescheduling requested close to the original departure date may be treated as a cancellation and a new booking, and the Cancellation Schedule above will apply accordingly.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7–14 working days through the original payment method, subject to applicable payment-provider and banking timelines.
Acknowledgement
By registering and completing payment for a trek, tour or experience, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
